Intervening in confined spaces such as manholes, tanks, reservoirs, collectors, and pumping stations exposes the operator to cumulative and silent risks. Unlike working at height, the danger does not only come from falling: oxygen-depleted atmosphere, presence of toxic gases, wet and slippery walls, reduced visibility, and restricted space limiting movement. For water, sanitation, supply, and treatment network operators, descending into a manhole or collector can turn into a critical situation in a few seconds. And in confined spaces, rescue without suitable equipment too often turns one victim into two.

To secure every confined space intervention, complete and reliable equipment is essential: a fall arrest harness with dorsal and sternal attachment points, a lifting tripod positioned at the manhole opening to ensure descent, ascent, and rescue without a rescuer descending, and a connecting lanyard allowing the operator to remain constantly connected, from the surface to the bottom of the structure. Equipment that protects the intervener... and the one waiting for them on the surface.
