After a fall that activated the absorber, what should I do?

Immediately remove the Ref. 311 absorber from service. A deployed absorber (partially or fully unwound web) must never be reused. Log the incident in the PPE register and replace the equipment.

Free space = lanyard length (variable) + absorber deployment (max. 249 mm) + height of dorsal attachment point above the ground (~1.5 m) + safety margin. This calculation is mandatory before any use.
