Fall arrester designed for working from the bottom up without manual user intervention. The device features a manual opening that allows the user to separate the rope from the rope grab; this opening is hinged and secured by a double lock.
Before use, manually test the fall arrester's sliding action on the rope, then pull the fall arrester sharply to verify that it locks immediately on the rope. In the working position, a minimum free space of 2 meters must be maintained below the user's feet.

The Rop Chuck Ref. 365 is mounted on the working rope and automatically follows the user during ascent. In the event of a fall or loss of balance, it immediately locks onto the rope, stopping the fall. Controlled descent is achieved by manually opening the device. What rope diameter does the Rop Chuck Ref. 365 work on?

Yes. The use of the Rop Chuck EN 353 requires training in rope safety techniques. Labor Code R.4323-91 mandates training for wearing fall protection PPE. Inquire with an accredited organization.
Can the Rop Chuck be used as an ascender?
No. The Rop Chuck is exclusively a guided type fall arrester on a rope PPE. It does not replace an ascender (Jumar, Croll) in a rope technique system. These two types of equipment fulfill different and complementary functions.
