For which professionals?
Used for work positioning or as a positioning lanyard for roofers, carpenters, and erectors. Compliant with EN 354, it integrates into a complete fall arrest system compliant with EN 363.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between EN 354 (lanyard) and EN 355 (absorber)?
EN 354 concerns simple positioning or fall arrest lanyards without an absorber. EN 355 concerns integrated energy absorbers. For work at height with a risk of free fall, a lanyard with an absorber (compliant with EN 354 + EN 355) is recommended.
Is this polyamide rope resistant to humidity?
Polyamide absorbs humidity slightly (less than 5% by weight), without a significant impact on its mechanical properties for normal use. In prolonged very humid conditions, inspect your PPE regularly.
Can the Ref. 121 lanyard be used as a work positioning and fall protection lanyard?
The Ref. 121 is designed for work positioning (EN 358). For fall protection, use the lanyard with energy absorber Ref. 351 or 157 (EN 354 + EN 355). Consult our technical team for the appropriate choice for your work situation.
