Yes. The male-female buckles of Ref. 453N are certified to withstand the forces defined by the EN 361 standard. They do not open accidentally: an intentional action (simultaneous pressure on both sides) is required to unlock them.

Is this harness suitable for confined space work?

The EN 361 harness is designed for work at height. For confined spaces, a rescue harness (EN 1497) is recommended in addition or as a replacement depending on conditions. Contact the SASSI technical team.

How to properly store a fall arrest harness between uses?

Store the harness in a clean, dry place, away from UV rays and chemicals. Do not hang it by the webbing (risk of deformation). Use a dedicated storage bag. Write the in-service date on the attached inspection sheet.
