Materials and manufacturing

The Ref. 140 combines the strength of polyamide webbing with the comfort of chrome-tanned leather for the back support lining. Chrome leather offers excellent resistance to moisture and light chemicals on the job site. The belt is designed to be worn alone (EN 358) or combined with an EN 361 fall arrest harness.

Suitable for roofers, carpenters, and erectors working on sloped roofs or structures requiring position retention. It can be used alone for positioning or combined with a fall arrest harness for complete protection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this belt replace an EN 361 fall arrest harness?

No. The EN 358 belt is work positioning PPE, not fall arrest. It cannot be used as the sole fall arrest PPE for work with a free fall risk. It must be combined with an EN 361 harness in such situations.

Is the work positioning belt suitable for all body types?

The Ref. 140 is available in several sizes (S/M/L/XL). The straps are adjustable to fit different body types. Contact SASSI to help you choose the right size.

What is the maximum lifespan of this work positioning belt?

Like all Category III PPE, the maximum lifespan is 10 years from the date of manufacture, subject to annual inspections and absence of damage. In the event of a fall or incident, immediately remove the PPE from service.
